Homemade Strawberry Lemonade

"Don't use time carelessly, for it can never be retrieved. Life is precious!" (Denise Austin)

Hello, my lovely friends!

I finally got around to making some more lemonade. I’ve been wanting to try mixing it with different berry fruits and now I have a bunch of different ideas.

What you need:

6 to 8 lemons

10 to 12 strawberries

1 cup of Splenda

1 cup of water

Sauce pan

Blender

Strainer

Directions

!.Wash the lemons, cut in half and squeeze all the juice out of them. Make sure you have no seeds in them. I will slice one of the lemons instead of squeezing it and just put the slices into the saucepan, along with the juice of the lemons.

2.Clean and slice the strawberries and place them in the saucepan. Pour the sugar and water into the pan. Turn the stove on to medium-heat and bring it up to a simmer and turn off the stove.

3. Remove the lemon slice from the saucepan. You should let it cool down or you can add some ice cubes to help it along. Pour it into the blender and mix it all together.

4. You can take a strainer and pour it to remove any left-over pulp, but if you want to have the berry pulp in your lemonade then there’s no need to strain it.

5. Whatever pitcher you use pour the juice in and then fill it up with water. Stir it all together.

6. Taste it and depending on it you like it sweet or tart, you may want to add some more sugar to it.

You can take any kind of berry you want, but you can also use kiwi, pineapple, lime, mango or peach. I’m not so sure about melons, but I keep thinking about limes and watermelon. Also you can change the citrus and use oranges with pineapple.

So glad you could stop by! Wishing you a splendid rest of your day/evening/morning, wherever you may be.

Until next time! Adios...
