Simple Chicken Soup

"In order to change we must be sick and tired of being sick and tired."  (Author Unknown)

Hello, my lovely friends!

I've been sick since Friday and I'm finally feeling better.  I have a very long and complex chicken soup recipe that everyone in the family is always asking me for the recipe. I also have a super simple chicken recipe that I make when I'm really sick and I have no time for a chicken soup recipe that takes hours. How do I do it? I get a can of soup and open it. Okay, I really don't. There's nothing wrong with can soups as long as you get low sodium ones. Let's get to a simple chicken soup recipe that you can make in an hour.

Simple Chicken Soup

What you need:

Rotisserie chicken, shred it just to have the meat

Chicken broth

2 celery stalk, chopped

2 carrots, peeled & chopped

1 can of mushrooms

garlic clove, minced

1/2 tsp. Fresh or dried rosemary

1 cup of egg noodles

Directions

1. In soup pot add your chicken broth, garlic, and rosemary. You're going to bring that to a boil.

2. Throw in your egg noodles and cook them according to the package. Halfway through put your carrots and celery in there. Let those cook for a few minutes.

3. When your egg noodles and almost done put your can of mushrooms and shredded chicken in there. Let that go for about four three to four minutes.

That's it super simple, but it still has that comfort and the benefits to help you get better during this cold season. Depending on the size of soup pot you're using you can have this for a couple of days.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I wish you a good morning, afternoon or evening wherever you are.

Talk soon…
