Taking Two Negatives to Make a Positive

"It's not who you are that holds you back, it's who you think you're not." (Author Unknown)

Hello, my lovely friends!

With everything going on this summer it’s been really had to stay focused on anything. I’m like every normal person out there and have my good and bad days. For the most part my eating has been pretty good, but there are those days when it just falls apart.

On the other hand it’s been probably three weeks since I exercised. I have no excuse. There are days when I’m out all day running errands or taking my Mom to her appointments, but on the days when I’m home I’m so tired from running around or stressed out that I just don’t want to do it. I can feel it to because I’m so sluggish with things. I need to get myself back on track with everything.

I was on such a roll with things when summer started, but I allowed outside things to interfere and now here I am beating myself up over things. I’ve also noticed that the positive Paula that I am has pretty much taken a vacation. I know that being so negative about things is not good for me and it takes its toll on everything else. Things have got to change and in order for that to change I have to make those changes.

It’s not easy making positive and healthy changes, but you have to get your head in the right frame of mind. I’m going to do a few things this week to get myself back on the exercise wagon.

1. I pulled the treadmill out to the TV room instead of having it in a room that I can close the door to. This way it will be right in front of me.

2. I’m going to walk to get the mail everyday instead of driving to get it.

3. Start wearing my pedometer again. I stopped a longtime ago and it helped because I always tried to top the steps from the day before.

That’s the plan for the week. I need to get myself back on some kind of track because I’m so off of any kind right now.

So glad you could stop by! Wishing you a splendid rest of your day/evening/morning, wherever you may be.

Until next time! Adios...
