Fun Times Ahead

Hello, my lovely friends!

Halloween is my happy place, where ghouls and goblins roam free, and candy corn reigns supreme. But this year, the weather is playing a trick on me. It's still so warm outside that I'm sweating more than a werewolf in a sauna. How am I supposed to get into the spooky spirit when I'm feeling more like a beach bum than a ghost?

Spooky season is finally here, and I'm so excited to finally transform my coffee bar into a Halloween haunt. Can you believe I had a whole January setup and then just... stopped?  Guess I got a little too cozy with my regular decor. Anyway, I've already got the spooky bin ready to go, so expect some frightful transformations by Saturday.

Get ready to pumpkin patch party! We're heading to the local garden center on Saturday for their Fall Festival. There's a pumpkin weigh-in, live music, face painting, and tons of other fun activities. We'll be surrounded by colorful fall foliage and the delicious aroma of pumpkin spice. It's the perfect opportunity to get into the spirit of Halloween and enjoy some quality time.

Get ready for a family reunion explosion! My awesome sister and her little sidekick, Cuinn, are making their grand entrance next Saturday. Cuinn’s staying for a mini-vacation until Tuesday, while my sister’s sticking around for the full Saturday-to-Saturday party. We’re all buzzing with excitement!

How are things going in your world? Aything new and different?

May this season be filled with haunted houses, pumpkin patches, and plenty of spooky surprises.

  1. Happy Wednesday! Fall weather found its way here. According to our local weather person, we are the cold spot of the Midwest, 48*. Love it!!!

    1. Hey Jeanne! It was 90 here and still turned the A/C on for a little bit. I'm hoping the cooler weather comes and stays. So jealous of your weather, enjoy it.

Have a marvelous day! (((BIG HUGS)))

  2. We had the wonderful change of our daughter moving back in with us from British Columbia and she will be here until she is back on her feet. I think it will be like your coffee bar, we have stopped doing a lot of things and need to get out there more again and DD might just be the ticket to get that started once more.

    1. I imagine its nice having her there, but not the circumstances that made it possible. This year we haven't felt like doing anything, but are slowly (a snail's pace) are getting things done. I think having her around just might be what you need to get moving.

      Enjoy your day! (((BIG HUGS)))

  3. How awesome that your sister and Cunin are coming for a visit! That will lift the spirits.

Love this time of the year, w/the crisp air, the sights and smells of Autumn in the air, the colors of the trees!

Even though its still hot here, it smells different. It smells like fall here and the colors have changed. I just need it to get cool here.

Have a fabulous day! (((BIG HUGS)))
