What a Start...

"Sunday is a day to recharge the soul. Take a deep breath, relax, and let go of the week that was." (Unknown)

Hello, my lovely friends!

Whew, what a whirlwind! We’ve been racing around like mad squirrels, tidying up the house from top to bottom. Our company came by yesterday, and we wanted everything to sparkle. It was a lot of work, but we’re glad we did it. By the end of Friday, we were both feeling pretty zapped, but it was totally worth it!

Yesterday morning, we hopped out of bed, threw on some clothes, and hit the road for the airport. Finding parking there was a total headache—it felt like we were searching for a needle in a haystack! We finally threw in the towel and sent a quick text to my sister, letting her know we'd meet them curbside. When they arrived, we all exchanged big, warm hugs and piled into the car. Our first stop was breakfast, then home to drop off their bags. After that, making our way to the cemetery to visit my dad and grandparents.

That was the original plan, but life had other ideas! We were on our way to grab some McDonald's when bam! A car behind us decided to play bumper cars without our permission. Luckily, everyone's okay, just a little banged up. My jaw's feeling a bit sore, and I think a bruise is making itself at home. Cuinn gave his head a little thump, but he’s tough. Mom got checked out too and she’s all good. Close call, but we’re all still here and smiling (mostly).

It was a scary moment, but we're grateful to be safe. The car behind us seemed to have lost control, but thankfully, it didn't cause too much damage. We're just glad it wasn't worse. Now, we're all trying to relax and recover. We're thankful for the quick response from the emergency services.

Well, that's how our weekend kicked off! How are you spending yours?"

So glad you could stop by! Wishing you a splendid rest of your day/evening/morning, wherever you may be.
Until next time! Adios...
